Il visibile non è un’immagine, non funziona come un’immagine. Non è quello che è davanti a noi, ma quello che ci circonda, ci precede e segue. / The visible is not an image, it doesn’t function like an image. It’s not what’s in front of us, but what’s all around us, what comes before and after us. (1)
Cose Cosmiche, in collaborazione con Dolomiti Contemporanee / Progettoborca, vi invita a partecipare a Conferenza passeggiando, un esperimento di attraversamento non convenzionale dello spazio dell’ex villaggio Eni di Borca di Cadore.
Il camminare, in effetti, permette di vedere dinamizzando delle linee, linee di canti (song lines) che disegnano il territorio aborigeno, linee di fuga che bucano lo schermo del paesaggio nella sua rappresentazione più tradizionale, linee di streghe, come direbbe Deleuze, che trascinano il pensiero dietro al movimento delle cose […].(2)
Percorreremo l’area dell’ex colonia per bambini progettata dall’architetto Gellner negli anni ’50, con l’attitudine al contempo dispersiva e immersiva della passeggiata. Allineando il pensiero al ritmo dei nostri passi, ascolteremo le riflessioni e gli ultimi studi di astrofisici, ricercatori e artisti. more>
Cose Cosmiche, in collaboration with Dolomiti Contemporanee / Progettoborca, is pleased to invite you to A Walking Conference: an unconventional journey through the former Eni Village in Borca di Cadore.
In the act of walking, we see lines take form around us, melody lines that trace the primitive landscape, lines of flight that pierce the screen of the natural world as it’s more traditionally represented, witch’s lines, as Deleuze called them, that drag our thoughts along behind the movement of objects […].(2)
We’ll make our way through the former children’s colony, designed in the 1950s by the architect Edoardo Gellner, allowing the walk to immerse and disperse us as it may. As our thoughts fall in line with our footsteps, we’ll hear from astrophysicists, researchers, and artists as they share their reflections and the details of their latest projects. more>
